1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the aiKonnector platform, including all related content, services, and products offered through aiKonnector.

aiKonnector is operated by aiKonnector LLC (“aiKonnector”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using any part of our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our policies and procedures published on our website (collectively referred to as the “Agreement”).

Please read this Agreement carefully. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not access or use the aiKonnector Service.


2. What aiKonnector Offers

aiKonnector is a SaaS platform designed to manage approval workflows. It automates routing based on set rules, tracks the status of requests, generates reports, sends reminders, and integrates with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email. The Service is designed to increase efficiency and compliance.

We may update existing features or introduce new ones. All such updates will also be governed by this Agreement. Access is granted on a temporary basis, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.


3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the aiKonnector Service. You must also not be prohibited from using our Service under applicable law.


4. Account Access and Personal Data

You may connect aiKonnector with your Slack or Microsoft Teams account. By doing so, you authorize us to access and process data from your account. If you are a data controller, this includes the user data you allow us to access. All personal data processing is subject to our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for all activities under your use of the aiKonnector Service, including those by other users you authorize. We are not liable for any losses arising from your actions or omissions.

We use your contact details to communicate service-related and promotional information via email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams.


5. Data Protection

We comply with applicable data privacy regulations, including the CCPA, CPRA, and GDPR. You may have rights such as accessing, deleting, or limiting the sharing of your personal data. We have completed a SOC 2 Type 1 audit. Requests related to personal data can be submitted to [email protected], and we respond within 30 days. Verification of your identity may be required.


6. Subscriptions

Details on subscription plans can be found on our website. Usage of aiKonnector must comply with your subscribed plan. Upgrades are available.

6.1 Payment and Billing

To purchase a paid plan, you must choose a subscription level and provide valid payment details. You authorize us and our processors (e.g., Stripe) to charge you on the initial purchase date and on each monthly or annual renewal date thereafter.

Fees:

  • Must be paid in USD.
  • Are non-refundable (except as outlined in Sections 6.4 and 7).
  • Exclude sales tax, which will be charged if applicable.

If your payment fails within 15 days of the billing date, we may suspend your access and charge interest at 3% above HSBC’s base rate until the outstanding amount is paid.

Billing disputes must be reported within 20 days of the billing date. We may change subscription fees with one month’s notice. Continued use after such changes implies acceptance.

6.2 Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled as per Section 6.4.

6.3 Plan Changes

Subscription upgrades or downgrades take effect immediately.

6.4 Cancellation

Cancel by emailing [email protected]. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will be downgraded to the Free Plan. Refunds are not issued unless you’re an EU consumer canceling within 14 days of the initial purchase and not using the service for business purposes.


7. Refund Guarantee

If you’re a first-time paid subscriber and compliant with this Agreement, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting [email protected].


8. Intellectual Property

aiKonnector owns or licenses all rights to its services and content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to use the platform according to your subscription level. This license ends when the Agreement is terminated.

aiKonnector retains ownership of all trademarks, branding, and content. You may not reproduce or use these without permission.


9. Approval Requests

Your approval requests may contain confidential information. By using the Service, you permit us to transmit and store this data for operational purposes. You must ensure you have the right to use and share such data. You are responsible for any claims or damages arising from unauthorized use.


10. Third-Party Links

aiKonnector may link to third-party websites. These sites are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content or policies. Your use of these sites is at your own discretion.


11. Updates to Terms

We may modify this Agreement at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the aiKonnector Service indicates your acceptance of those changes.


12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately if you breach this Agreement or if we believe it’s necessary for security reasons. You may terminate the Agreement by stopping your use of the Service and canceling your subscription as outlined in Section 6.4.

Upon termination, your rights under this Agreement cease. We may retain personal data only as required by law, and you may request its deletion by emailing [email protected].


13. No Warranties

aiKonnector is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. All warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose, are disclaimed to the extent permitted by law.


14. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim under this Agreement is limited to the amount paid by you in the past 12 months. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.


15. User Commitments

You represent and warrant that:

  • You will comply with Microsoft Teams/Slack terms of service.
  • All information you provide is accurate.
  • You will not misuse the Service (e.g., for emergencies, illegal activities, infringing rights, spreading malware, or harassment).
  • You will not attempt unauthorized access or collect data unlawfully.

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account.


16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless aiKonnector LLC, its employees, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or breach of this Agreement.


17. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in its courts. If a conflict arises between this Agreement and applicable data laws, the latter will prevail.


18. Support Policy

During your subscription, we provide customer support based on your plan. Support may be accessed via our website, app, email ([email protected]), or communication platforms (Slack, MS Teams, WhatsApp, Telegram).

Support includes:

  • Access to tutorials and documentation
  • Guidance on using product features
  • Assistance with reproducible bugs
  • Regular software updates

Support does not include:

  • Third-party software/hardware
  • Onsite assistance
  • Professional or advisory services
  • Data management tasks

Response times and support availability vary by plan.


19. Additional Terms

This Agreement is the complete understanding between you and aiKonnector. No third party has rights under it. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.

We may assign our rights under this Agreement. If any part of this Agreement is invalid, the remaining provisions will still apply.
